Our phone system is unlike any you have seen before. It is actually a 21st century computer server that contains the latest Intel telephony switching cards. Incoming and outgoing calls are 100% digital. The system is seamlessly tied in to our gigabit internal network. When you connect your computer to our network, your computer becomes part of the telephone system. Incoming calls display in a pop-up window on your screen, giving you a choice of options as to how you answer or direct the call. You can do anything as simple as picking up the phone and saying Hello to dragging and dropping the call into any of a number of different voice mailboxes you have set up. If you are not at your desk when a call comes in, the system will, if you have so directed, try calling you at any number of different locations according to rules you set. With unified messaging built in, the system will automatically email you to notify you if a high priority message has been left for you.
When your line rings, our “Manager of First Impressions” doesn’t have to try and remember the name of your company and how to answer the call. The text that you have developed for answering your calls pops up on her screen simultaneously with the first ring. So your calls are answered correctly and professionally, every time, exactly the way you wish. With this system, calls on hold cannot be forgotten -- the computer will notify our receptionist if you haven’t answered and the caller prefers to talk to a human being rather than leave a voice mail.
A list of all messages in your mailbox can be displayed on your computer screen with details of who called, when they called, the length of their message, and the priority of the message. You can answer messages in any sequence, with one click of the mouse. You can drag messages and drop them into different mailboxes. If you put a simple microphone on your computer, you don’t even need a telephone handset! And you can process all your messages in the office or after hours from your home.
Every month you receive from us a detailed breakdown of your telephone use, listing full details of every single incoming and outgoing call. This can be hard copy or an emailed PDF.
